Welcome to My New Home

Over the years my passion for writing nested within a variety of genres, as it faithfully mirrored my life journey. As a young parent I published parenting manuals. When I ventured into into university instruction I wrote textbooks. As my primary clinical activity and interest shifted into disaster mental health response I penned guidelines, manuals, and training programs for related volunteer and governmental bodies.

With retirement looming ever closer, I found time and opportunity to entertain that lifelong fantasy of becoming a novel writer. Of course, that was all the provocation necessary for our society to spiral out of control with divisiveness and polarization, traumatizing itself at every turn. I had to take a stab at it: could I team up my trauma expertise and writing skills, and produce something that might help heal so many self-inflicted wounds? Thus two of my most recent works are self-help oriented.

Do writers ever retire? I’m beginning to think not.

This new consolidated website replaces previous experimentation with trying to fit into a digital world. Any of my further written works, regardless of genre, will be referenced here. So stay tuned! I have the feeling this story isn’t over yet.
